Definition
: Your website is a collection of related web pages which are typically identified with a single domain name, and published on a web server (learn about website hosting plans). A website may be accessible via a public Internet Protocol (IP address), or a private local area network (LAN), by typing in your domain name  (URL: uniform resource locator) that identifies your site.
